Problem
Patients complain constantly about many things including Parking, finding their way around Hospitals, finding up to date Information, Communications and accessing accurate Contact details in a simple and easy way. Hospital Trusts and Staff want to be able to alleviate Patient concerns, improve Patient Care, whilst increasing efficiency and reducing Costs
Solution
To create a mobile App that could be easily be accessed by Patients, using our Integrated Smart Device Technology (ISDT) to produce a complete digital ecosystem. This approach allowed the App to produce and make available all Hospital Trust Leaflets, reducing print and updated print costs massively. By using our ISDT Solution we were able to create a Health/Medical App Store for the Hospital Trust, so that in the Digital Age all the Hospitals Apps could be ‘housed’ in the same place and easily accessed via Patients and Staff. This also ensures that the Clinicians and Trust have full control over all Apps being used within the Hospital. The Business Case Savings exceeding the digital development costs over 24 months. The Integrated Hospital App Solution provides the opportunity for Hospital Trusts to coordinate and develop a coherent digital strategy and ensure ‘fit for purpose’ Digital Integration focused on Interoperability within the Hospital.
